About us

Sinemaster Motor Factors began trading from their Head Office site in Sheffield in 1972, selling number plates and replacement panels.  The company became distributors for Berger paints in 1977.

1980 saw the introduction of Standox paints from Germany.  The quality of product matched with the enthusiasm for staff moved Sinemaster into the top three distributors for Standox in the UK.

Sinemaster has since grown by both acquisition and organic growth, acquiring branches in Loughborough, Leeds, Widnes, Newcastle, Birmingham & Accrington. It now covers the length and breadth of the North and Midlands – from North Wales across to Hull and extending from Newcastle down to the Birmingham.

Today, Sinemaster is a very different company from that which started in 1972.  It is a multi-sited operation providing a comprehensive service for its customers and is now in the UK Top Five of Paint Distributors*.  It has retained the values of a family run business whilst continuing to invest in the future of the business and its customers.
